My 3rd RX 450h..

..and I would buy another in a heartbeat. I have also owned an LS 430, a LS 600HL, and currently an LS 460 which I purchased after some texting idiot crashed into the back of my HL. I mention this because my experience over the years with Lexus has been exceptional and the reliability, ride comfort, and convenience has been outstanding so I stick to the brand I know and love.
The RX is easy to drive, frustration free (except for the infotainment controls). You will easily get the hang of the system but my previous systems with touch-screen was much more intuitive.
Folks need to understand that driving your RX hybrid at 80 and 90 miles an hour will NOT get you the stated gas mileage. Two things to consider, stay below 70 miles (on highways) and being easy on the climate temp, is the way to better gas mileage in ANY vehicle. Start off from a stop smoothly, slow down and do not keep stamping on the brakes. I average around 28-30 miles per gallon regularly in my RX traveling between 60-70 MPH and not running my AC lower than 77 in the summers. I even gain miles on my other cars by following this tried and true principle. You will not only be helping the environment but also your pocket!…
