My assigned service consultant explicitly assured me that the inspection would be completed and reported by the end of that day. Despite this assurance, I received no communication regarding my vehicle's status by midday. To my surprise and considerable consternation, I instead received an unsolicited text message from an individual named Vanessa, inquiring about purchasing my Lexus. This communication felt highly inappropriate and distracting, especially given that my vehicle was actively undergoing a service appointment at your facility. The complete absence of any further updates from my consultant or the service department throughout Friday necessitated my personal visit to the dealership on Monday to ascertain the status of my vehicle. Upon my arrival, I was informed that my consultant was unavailable. I subsequently spoke with Mr. Jeff, to whom I conveyed my considerable concerns regarding the persistent lack of communication and the unexplained delay. Furthermore, I must highlight another significant oversight. It is a valued and expected practice within Lexus service departments to provide customers with a detailed video outlining any recommended repairs. This critical element of transparency and customer assurance was absent until I requested it and I was not completely satisfied with the presentation. The cumulative effect of these issues – the unmet communication promises, the unexpected third-party solicitation, and the failure to uphold standard service protocols like the video inspection – has rendered my experience exceptionally unsatisfactory. I am deeply displeased with the service I received from the Sheehy Lexus service department on this occasion, and as a direct result, I regrettably cannot recommend your services to others. ”
